| Abstract: | This work aims to study the Brazilian Defense Industrial Base and its interaction with the War Armories, Military Production Organizations, subordinated to the Department of Science and Technology of the Brazilian Army, which are responsible, within the Life Cycle of Systems and Materials of Military Employment, for the manufacture and evaluation of prototypes and pilot lots, as well as for modernization, repowering, nationalization and recuperative maintenance of industrial production within the Manufacturing System. As a relevant factor, Science, Technology and Innovation is one of the Transformation Vectors of the Brazilian Army. In this way, a System of Science, Technology and Innovation can contribute to the strengthening of the Military and Scientific-Technological expressions of the National Power, and as a consequence of the National Sovereignty itself. In this sense, the War Armories act in the Strategic Programs of the Army, in what concerns the Capacity of the Defense of the Society, within the Strategic Program of the Army Achievement the Full Operational Capacity. Therefore, this work tries to identify the contribution that the War Armories may bring in their interactions with the Industrial Defense Base. |
| Description: | Este trabalho tem por objetivo estudar a Base Industrial de Defesa brasileira e sua interação com os Arsenais de Guerra, Organizações Militares fabris, subordinadas ao Departamento de Ciência e Tecnologia do Exército Brasileiro, e que são responsáveis, dentro do Ciclo de Vida dos Sistemas e Materiais de Emprego Militar, pela fabricação e avaliação dos protótipos e dos lotes pilotos, bem como pela modernização, repotencialização, nacionalização e manutenção recuperadora da produção industrial dentro do Sistema de Fabricação. Como fator relevante a Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação configura-se como um dos Vetores de Transformação do Exército Brasileiro. Deste modo, um Sistema de Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação poderá contribuir no fortalecimento das expressões Militar e Científico-Tecnológica do Poder Nacional, e em consequência da própria Soberania Nacional. Neste sentido, os Arsenais de Guerra atuam nos Programas Estratégicos do Exército, no que concerne à Capacidade da Defesa da Sociedade, dentro do Programa Estratégico do Exército Obtenção da Capacidade Operacional Plena. Assim, procura-se identificar a contribuição que os Arsenais de Guerra poderão trazer em suas interações com a Base Industrial de Defesa. |
