Abstract

Globalization is the term used to describe the process of economic and political transformations that have been taking place in recent decades, responsible for an unusual growth spurt that transcends the physical borders that currently exist. The Cyber Environment is treated by several countries as a new theater of war, along with sea, air, land and space. Critical Infrastructures (CIs) are the preferred targets of Cyber Warfare, directly influencing National Power. The work developed seeks to highlight the importance of the subject among developed countries, raising awareness of the existing risks, with the aim of providing conditions for the establishment of efficient strategies to minimize the consequences of future hostile acts, which may be triggered intentionally or not.
