Abstract

This paper analyzes the implementation of Business Processes Management for a government intelligence agency. Such an approach is justified and is important, as it will be able to provide support to public institutions, at a strategic level, regarding the implementation of Business Processes Management in their Intelligence agency, in order to: allow the mapping of these processes, whether administrative or operational, identify obstacles and restrictions, as well as improve the production of knowledge for timely advice to the decision-maker. The main objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of Business Processes Management for a government Intelligence agency. This task will be achieved through the adoption of a basic, documental, bibliographical and field research, as well as the deductive reasoning method will be applied. The research showed, through the data obtained and analyzed, that the implementation of Business Processes Management in a government intelligence agency constitutes an action of great relevance, as it certified the presence of positive impacts, in terms of productivity, efficiency, training of agents and organizational improvement.
