A inteligência estratégica como instrumento de assessoramento ao processo decisório para a Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil

Abstract

This work presents the categories and concepts of Intelligence Activity including Fiscal Intelligence and Strategic Intelligence. The National Civil Aviation Agency - ANAC was created to regulate and supervise civil aviation in Brazil, promoting the safety of the sector, highlighting the representation of Brazil in international organizations; negotiation of agreements and treaties on international air transport; issuance of airport security rules on board civil aircraft; concession for operating air services and airport infrastructure and others. ANAC's intelligence activity contributes to the security of civil aviation, addressing threats such as sabotage, cyber-attacks, espionage, organized crime, terrorism, and illegal activities. The inclusion in ANAC's internal regulations of Strategic Intelligence or Intelligence-Based Consulting to advise the decision-making process of the Agency's top management can provide for the elaboration of prospective scenarios, with a long-term vision of Civil Aviation and an increase in the quality of services provided by Agency, with a focus on safety, sustainability and efficiency both nationally and internationally.
