Atuação da Polícia judiciária, sob a ótica da segurança humana

Abstract

The current study has as scope the analysis of the Judiciary Police activities from the perspective of Human Safety, in all of its multidimentional caracteristics, whether under the constitutional protection of fundamental rights, or within the field of international human rights. Hence, the work under discussion aims to analyse the change of focus on the Safety concept, which goes from the protection of the State to the protection of Man, seeking to promote human dignity. The study was conducted by a hypothetical-deductive methodology and it can be classified as exploratory, descriptive, documental and bibliographic, considering the conducting bibliographic research, with reference on published and available books, decrees, resolutions, articles and thesis, through reports, official documents, journals, specialized websites and academic papers, related to the topics of Judiciary Police; Human Safety; Integrated Activities; Safety, Defense and Development. The primary purpose of this work is to analyse in what manner the Judiciary Police can perform its activities seamlessly under the light of Human Safety, aiming to serve the citizen on the folowing axis: Social, Economical, Insfrastructure, Transparency, Dialogue/Governance and Safety, as well as the importance of standardize procedures seeking to guide managers and, in this case, the Judiciary Police of Rio de Janeiro acitivities. In this vein, the work aims to establish an organizational structure set to the population demand and the faithful fulfillment of the Rio de Janeiro State Secretariat of Civil Police mission, with the focus of Citizen Safety.
