| Abstract: | The research has its focus in the subject of Defense Intelligence, and It works in the educational area. It will make several comparisons with other activities and organizations to be able to identify new opportunities. In this line of thought, it will be verified the kind of formation the professional of Defense Intelligence in Brazil does have, and what is needed to development and for new achievements. For this reason, in this paper, will be analyzed the formal education organization of USA in this matter, the National Intelligence University (NIU). Defined as general objective, it is to identify relevant aspects of the NIU that may contribute to the same objectives of Ministry of Defense. For better understanding of the subject, it will be addressed: the concepts of Intelligence; Education in the Ministry of Defense of Brazil, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and NIU identifying similarities and opportunities. |
| Description: | Esta pesquisa focaliza a Inteligência de Defesa, e se situa na área de formação de pessoal. Faz paralelo com outras atividades e organizações, para a identificação de novas oportunidades. Nesta linha de pensamento, será tratado o tipo de formação do profissional de Inteligência de Defesa no Brasil, e o que falta para o seu desenvolvimento e novas conquistas. Para tanto, analisa a organização norte-americana de ensino formal naquela atividade a National Intelligence University (NIU) para se identificar os aspectos relevantes que possam servir de referência para os objetivos equivalentes do Ministério da Defesa (MD). Para melhor compreensão do assunto serão abordados: os conceitos de Inteligência; a formação dos recursos humanos da atividade de Inteligência no Brasil, especialmente no MD; a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) e a NIU identificando semelhanças e oportunidade para o Brasil. |
