O Papel da AGU na defesa das Forças Armadas em sua atuação na Garantia da Lei e da Ordem

Abstract

The Federal Constitution establish the assurance of law and order as one of the tasks of the Armed Forces. This function has gained much importance and evidence over the past few years - a fact that tends to consolidate into a global trend. In all its activities, the armed forces have the support of the Attorney General's Office, both in the work of counseling and legal advice, as in the judicial representation. Through the analysis of experiences it is possible to identify the difficulties and problems faced by the military in the guarantee of law and order operations, in order to identify the measures that the Attorney General of the Union could adopt to help the armed forces in fulfilling this mission.
