Abstract

Social security benefits represent one of the biggest sources of funds in many of the Brazilian municipalities, it is important to strengthen the sector to guarantee access to those who, in fact, have the right to these benefits. The present work seeks to demonstrate that investments in Social Security Intelligence, through the General Coordination of Social Security and Labor Intelligence, have brought a high return in relation to investments, avoiding the loss of resources from Social Security and the Union, result of actions carried out by the Social Security Task Force; demonstrate the need to expand the staff and train civil servants; in addition to the importance of acting throughout the national territory, as a way of preventing and elucidating criminal actions, that result in damage to the purse; and also, considering that.
